The Power of Manifesting: Does it really work and can you manifest your dream life?

I believe in the power of positive thinking and setting clear intentions for what you want out of life. Not letting life happen to you, but being an active participant in the things that are at least within your control. I also believe in the power of visualizing your goals and having faith even when you don't yet know all the details. For example, “taking the first step even if you can’t see the whole staircase.” Finally, I believe that energy is important—having the right attitude, keeping positive outlook, and seeing the glass half-full rather than half-empty can be transformational for how you overcome setbacks and obstacles. There is power in persistence and trying over and over again if at first you don’t succeed.

In my opinion, manifesting does work; however, it goes hand-in-hand with work(s). I don't think it stops with just manifesting and having a good attitude because even the Bible says faith without works is dead.

"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?" James 2:14 NKJV.

No matter how much manifesting you do and how many vision boards you create, if you are not disciplined to put in the work towards achieving your goals, nothing is going to change. Well that's not entirely true, the Seasons will change and time will pass you by, but things will remain status quo—you will remain in the same position that you were in last year and the year before and complaining about the same problem. Because at Creolenatural.com we are about empowering you to live better, become healthier and more successful in all that you do, below are six (6) tips on how to properly manifest your dream life and achieve God’s purpose for your life:

  1. Believe: If you believe it, you can achieve it. You must first believe you can before you can even manifest certain blessings into your life. As mentioned above, it’s about your energy and the vibes that you are putting into the atmosphere. Change your thinking, your attitude and change your life.

  2. Get Visual: Talk to God and obtain confirmation for the path that you are on and whether it’s in God’s will for you. Then, claim victory over your goals and dreams by visualizing the future that you want. Don’t be afraid to get real specific and clear about your intentions.

  3. Seal it in writing: Write down your goals so you can hold yourself personally accountable for achieving them. Whether it’s creating a vision board or writing in a journal or digital notebook. You need to not only envision it in your mind but also see it written down.

  4. Get Organized: Create a plan for how you are going to achieve your goals. For example, if you manifest a new career, dream house or a dream vacation, write down the actionable steps that you will need to take to make your dream a reality. You may need to get your credit-score up to buy that house, you may need to go back to school or get a new certification for that new career you desire, and you may need to save more money to go on that dream vacation etc. What does these actionable steps look like in your present circumstance and day-to-day actions? That is what you need to figure out and break-down so it doesn't become a big daunting idea, but something manageable and achievable if you take the first step, than the next and next step.

  5. Action: Ask yourself what you can do on a daily basis to get a step closer towards achieving the goal that you manifested and stay consistent. Also remember to pace yourself. It's better to take small steps day-by-day than to expect to become successful overnight. Avoid burnouts, take breaks when you need it, re-evaluate the goal, create new strategies but whatever you do don’t give up on your dreams or on yourself.

  6. Celebrate: Once you become successful in achieving what you manifested, take the time to celebrate that achievement before jumping to the next thing.
