How To Practice Self-care On A Budget With As Little As One Dollar!

Updated: Jan 31, 2021

I believe you shouldn't have to break the bank to practice selfcare, and today I am sharing how you can do it at an affordable cost. I am sharing what's in my cart from the Dollar Tree store. You heard that right all of the items below were purchased for $1.00 each at my local Dollar Tree store. I didn't need all of these because I actually went to the store to get one thing, but while there was inspired to share with you  all of the cool things you could get to relax and pamper yourself at home. I don't know if it's because I used to go to flea markets with my mother when I was younger, but you can leave me with a pile of rubble, and I will find you something that you can shine/sparkle and make it look expensive. While there are a lot of things at the dollar store that are "junk" in my opinion or I should say of poor quality, I was able to find a few diamonds in the rough that I know I will use and love!

We are truly living in unprecedented times, and a lot of people are suffering both financially and emotionally, finding affordable ways you can treat yourself, de-stress and relax at home is of utmost importance. No matter how busy and stressful life gets, you have to remember to prioritize your selfcare and wellness. Selfcare does not have to be an expansive indulgence and can be practiced right from the comfort of your home at an affordable cost. That's right ladies save your coins, invest in stocks and build generational wealth, and if you can save a penny here and there why not? The economy is very unstable right now, so more than ever it's important to spend your money more wisely, build your emergency savings fund and make every dollar stretch.

Check out items below which made it from my cart to my home. Selfcare Sunday is about to be really good!

Relaxing Skin Care and Bath Time.

Light a beautiful scented candle.

Write your thoughts and ideas in a beautiful notebook/journal.

What are we eating and drinking today?

So for under $20.00 you can get facial wipes, facial mask sponges, hydrating sheet-masks, face toner, bath soaps and exfoliating sponge, microfiber hair wrap/towel, candles (which smells really good by the way), journal/notebook and pen, and last but not least recipe books. How did I do with shopping haul for selfcare items on a budget? Would you buy or use any of these items? Have you found anything at the dollar store recently that you would recommend?
